What do you guys think of these lovely pics of orphans?
My dad brought me this painting a couple of weeks ago. I hadn’t seen it for ages, not since at my childhood home days when dad and mum were still husband and wife. Mr and Mrs Blockley. Together not apart.
As a kid I used to stare at this painting. I never really liked it, well I didn’t dislike it either. It was more that the painting bothered me. I recognised the place in the painting and well where I grew up everything looked pretty much like this but it wasn’t just that. I knew this place. I was sure and still am that I have been there before. I asked my parents as a young Melanie if I had been there. They pretty much laughed at me. As a 25 year old Melanie I asked them again. They just gave me a blank stare.
Why do I know this place?
